Mosquito Invasion!@$@#

Lately not sure whether its because of the change of weather or the mosquito clans just decided to come out to party and suck bloods all night long. To make things worst I'm like a walking blood bank to these blood suckers and there's no way of hiding from them. I'm literally like a buffet spread to them wherever I go. Some people says its because of a particular blood type and some blames it to the fairness of one's skin too. I wonder if there's any logic to any of it.

Anyways, recently went to Perfect Livin fair at PISA and there's a booth selling one of the mosquito trap / killing unit called INADAY'S. This Taiwan brand unit claims to trap all the mosquito in your house with the attraction of the UV light. It's very trendy looking and looks more like a table lamp compared to those traditional mosquito trap units. It comes in 3 colors: Blue, Green and Purple. I chose the purple one as the color makes the light dimmer and its suitable in bedrooms (or so the lady claims). It also has the auto 12 hours settings whereby it will automatically shut off after 12 hrs. (duh!)

I've only tried it out for a few days in my bedroom and found only 2 mosquitos that are dumb enough to fly to the UV light and end up being sucked to the bottom and trapped in the container below by the built in fan. The lady at the booth did mentioned that we can place some drops of wine or vinegar to help to attract more of the blood sucking insects. However, what I find it a bit annoying is the sound of the built in fan and the light tends to be a bit glaring at night. I'll give it a week to see if the thing does really work as it claims to be. Sincerely hope it does coz the looks certainly does comes with a price too. Paid RM168 for the unit (after discount).

going into the Wootzz life....

What's the thing with "Life's a Wootzz" one might ask. Heck, Wootzz is not even a word rite?? I tried to google it up and I end up getting results to 'Wootz Steel which is actually a steel characterized by a pattern of bands or sheets of micro carbides within a tempered martensite or pearlite matrix'. Thanks to Wikipedia for the answer but wonder do they have the answer in plain english instead. ;-)

Anyways, who cares what is actually meant. To me its the best word that I can think of in explaining what life is to me. Think about it. Everything tat evolves around us everyday. Things tat goes on everyday ie events be it as grand as a wedding or as mundane as having a meal at the kopitiam, people in and out of our life...We actually need a big camera which has an endless supply of battery in order to record down each and every minute of our life.

So since I don't have a super high tech video with endless power supply to it, I might as well do it the caveman way. Yeah, the traditional word by word typing, writing or whatever you want to call it. This might sound lame and my england is not that superb either but its still a way of making a mark of what you're actually going through in your life rite. Ok, enough of my jabering....time to get down to business....but its very late now, have to get some shut eye 1st....stay tune!!
